The H36.00-48.00XM(S)-12 series of forklift trucks shares many similarities with the highly successful Reachstacker and H40.00-50.00XM-16CH container handling machines, offering a modern, proven design concept, resulting in a fast and durable machine.
Strength & Durability
The H36.00-48.00XM(S)-12 features an immensely strong frame, with massive box section frame members and large front axle supports. The AxleTech PRC7534 heavy duty drive axle, with reinforced spindles with double reduction, is wide (4.2m over tyres) and provides stability and durability; whilst the oil-immersed (wet) disc brakes reduce maintenance requirements. The engine and transmission protection system features initial engine de-rating and engine stop functions.
Hyster’s ‘sandwich’ type steer axle, with a single cylinder and non-adjustable tie rods is renowned for its long life and low maintenance requirements. A tropical cooling system makes the H36.00- 48.00XM(S)-12 machines suitable for working in ambient temperatures of up to 50°C.
Ease of Servicing
The H36.00-48.00XM(S)-12 series has been designed to be easily serviceable, with the right-hand side-tilting cab being electrically powered for effortless access to the vitals of the truck. This in combination with the quickly removable and lightweight aluminium floor plates, this provides truly excellent access for all maintenance work.
